Aliya Bree Hall is an author and freelance journalist based in Portland, Oregon.

Her short story “The Forest’s Call” was published in the Bleak Mindwinter: The Darkest Night Anthology in December 2022 and she is currently working on her debut novel.

She is also the author of “Now Comes the Hard Part: The Authors Publish Introduction to Marketing Your Book” an eBook published with Authors Publish.

Aliya is the founder of Sapphic Stories Bookclub and has bylines in publications around the world where she has covered a variety of topics. Nowadays, she primarily covers the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, video games and the publishing industry.

In her spare time, Aliya enjoys embroidery, thrifting, wine tasting and cuddling up on the couch watching Ru Paul’s Drag Race with her live-in girlfriend and their three cats.
